Mostly this is not about one of those conversation that your mom asks you how to download the update for whatsapp calling or how to get marathi typing keyboard on your screen.
This is about a conversation which you had 10 days ago and then she goes around town and discuss the same topic with 10 different people and they gave their own opinion (which is half true or simply crap by the way) and then she comes running to me as if there has been a fire that will burn the house and ask me how did you not notice that, do you know what to do now? her panic aggravates my anger.
So i am trying from past 6 months to get her to go for the visa interview for a tourist b2 visa (simplest of all visa interviews there ever will be ). So you would know my agony , starting from which consulate, which language we have been discussing a lot.
the events goes like this :
1) I will ask what she wants to do
2) she will say whatever you feel is right
3) I take a decision based on reviews on internet
4) then i ask her to finalize
5) she agrees to all what i said
6_ 5-6 days after she talks with some random uncle , who have seen some random people do this thing differently
7) she calls me immediately while the uncle with precious (you know what i mean :-P) advice sat sipping tea in my house.
8) she starts panicking and ask me why i did this, and should we do as the uncle said instead ?
9) i try to keep calm (as the uncle is still there) and search on internet discuss with people who already cleared. and then tell her that we can do what uncle says it will be same thing .
10) she agrees and calm down and put the phone down,
11) exactly 45 seconds later she will call me again ...
12) steps 8 -11 like 3 times
13) i will call er next morning and shout at her and say "don't ask me anything , ask that uncle and complete your interview "
I don't understand why she just cant trust me ?
Did i showed any distrust when she was teaching me to talk and turned to a random uncle to verify what she was teaching me is correct or not ?
Hmm i imagine how would that go ?
And i know all the parents in the world do the same thing , in one matter or the other .
